There is no doubt that we all would agree that Samsung has been bringing out the best every year since more than a decade now and is setting up a benchmark for other competitors in the market to achieve. Samsung again this year is setting a high standard by launching Galaxy Note 10. But irrespective of the fact that Samsung has years of experience, OnePlus, being a newbie in the market with an experience of roughly 5 years, is giving a hard competition to the old big brands including Samsung.

OnePlus brings the freshness to the consumer and breaks the monotony of the same old repetitive idea of a gadget as it is new. The company has set a huge benchmark of its own in a short period of time by its previously launched devices. The public has been quite happy and the OnePlus smartphones have gotten great reviews as well.

Galaxy Note10 vs. OnePlus 7 Pro: Design Comparison

Note 10 vs Oneplus 7Samsung has improved quite a lot in Galaxy Note 10 since Note 9 model. The fingerprint sensor is shifted to the front as ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor from the back. The buttons are removed and 3.5 mm audio jack as well.

It is a well-known fact that Samsung’s Note series comes with a stylus pen and so would the Galaxy Note 10.

The new gadget is equipped with an upgraded stylus pen with better Bluetooth connectivity and sensitivity. Not only that, according to a rumor, a patent has been released which focuses on a  stylus pen with an in-built camera which has an optical zoom feature whose functions are controlled by the buttons on the side of the stick.

In comparison to Galaxy Note 10, OnePlus 7 Pro also has an on-screen fingerprint sensor but obviously lacks a stylus pen. It has also abstained from the 3.5 mm audio jack and a punch hole camera. To combat that it does give you the improved wireless earbuds. OnePlus 7 Pro has adopted a new way to have a clear big display by using a pop-up selfie camera which is not of the best quality but not too bad as well. It has curved edges and the whole device has a glass built.

Samsung is bringing its largest display ever with Galaxy Note 10 with a super AMOLED screen display of size 6.66 inches. The display is completely bezel-less and also has an eye-comfort feature which protects the eyes from the harmful blue light without changing the color of the picture on the screen.

On the other hand, OnePlus 7 Pro also has a display size of 6.67 inches without the punch-hole camera and notch giving a clean flat full display. The display is named as ‘fluid AMOLED’ with the refresh rate of 90Hz rather than the regular of 60Hz providing a smoother motion.

Galaxy Note10 vs OnePlus 7 Pro: Camera Comparison

Samsung Note 10 vs. Oneplus 7 smartphoneBy the rumors and getting an estimate from the recently released Samsung models, Galaxy Note 10 would be having a 12 + 16 + 13 MP triple lens rear camera along with an 8 MP front camera. Not only that, the company has been wanting to add a feature of optical zoom since quite some time now but has not been able to due to lack of  space it needs but the company might have just a solution for that by adding an optical zoom featured camera in its stylus pen at the rear camera functioned using the buttons on the side of the Pen. This surely gives Note 10 an upper hand over OnePlus 7 Pro.

OnePlus 7 Pro has a triple camera with 48 MP main camera alongside 16 MP ultra-wide lens and 8 MP telephoto lens. Coming to the front camera, the gadget does not have any front camera in the screen to give the device a cleaner design but brings a new concept of pop-up selfie camera to compensate that. According to the reviews, the quality of the pop-up selfie camera is good but not the best but the rear camera quality is phenomenal with multiple features.

Performance: Who’s the beast?

Galaxy Note 10 is said to be using two chipsets depending upon the territory in which the phone is launched, the two chipsets being snapdragon 855  or Samsung’s own Exynos 9 octa 9820 chipset which is the latest Exynos chipset. It is going to have an 8 GB RAM as well.

The OnePlus 7 Pro on the other hand also has an 8 GB RAM which is extendable to 12 GB and uses a Snapdragon 855 chipset processor. Besides this, the device also has a 10 layer liquid cooling system preventing the phone from getting hot when overused.

Battery life:

The Galaxy Note 10 would be having a more power consumption due to the existence of stylus pen which has multiple functions of its own apart from the device’s functions as well. So it uses a supercapacitor by which the stylus pen gets charged when attached to the device. The whole smartphone uses a Samsung fast charger. It has a battery capacity of 4100 mAh.

OnePlus 7 Pro uses an oversized warp charge 30 adapters which are reviewed to be better than Samsung’s fast charging technology. It also holds a 4100 mAh battery capacity which is the largest ever yet and enough to run the device for the whole day. It takes approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes to charge the battery up to 100%.

Connectivity: 5G vs. 4G

4g vs 5 g

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is going to be the first ever device after S10 5G variant, which is going to have a 5G connectivity. There have been many hints given by the company itself that leads towards the 5G connection. In Contrast to that, OnePlus 7 Pro still lags behind with the 4G network connectivity.
